How to Pack for Your Fall Vacation in Guam

Guam is a beautiful island country with plenty of beaches, sun and fun. But most people probably think of the island as a summer destination, but what about fall?

Here is a guide for packing for your fall Guam vacation.

  1. It’s still warm

Guam has a tropical climate and temperatures are still in the mid-80s (F). That means packing like its summer: loose fitting, light-weight clothing. As always, natural fibers,        such as cotton, are best.

  1. Rain

Fall is Guam’s rainy season, which is good if you want to save money as people generally prefer to travel during the dry season. Umbrellas can be cumbersome to pack. I recommend a light weight rain coat or poncho.

If it is raining, you probably won’t be hitting the beach though.

  1. Indoor fun

Even if it’s raining, there’s still plenty of fun to be had in Guam. Treat yourself to Guam’s only Las Vegas style show with the SandCastle Dinner Theater.

Featuring magic, acrobats and tigers, this is fun for everyone and the show runs rain or shine.

  1. The clubs are open

For adults, Guam has a fantastic club scene, and you’ll want to look your best. Remember to pack your dancing shoes and a cute outfit for Guam’s only multi-level dance club.

  1. Hats are your friend

When it’s not raining it’s nice and sunny, so remember to bring a wide brimmed hat to keep the sun off your face.

  1. Bring your appetite

Fall is the perfect time to expand your palette, and Guam is just the place to do it. Home to cuisine from all over the world, you’ll find old favorites and new delights on your trip to Guam.

  1. A sense of adventure and fun

There are many wonderful things to do and see in Guam, don’t let the fact that most people don’t view fall as vacation season hold you back from the trip of a lifetime.
